Dr. Barbora G. Bell

About Dr. Bell

Dr. Barbora G. Bell was born and raised in Slovak Republic. In 1989 she earned a degree in Child Psychology and became a teacher. She moved to California in 1993. Dr. Bell attended Santa Clara University with a degree in Biology and Spanish in 1999. In 2003 she received a Doctor of Optometry Degree from University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry. Her clinical work included internship in the San Francisco and Palo Alto Veteran's Administration Centers. She also has extensive experience in binocular vision, perceptual skills and pediatric optometry. Prior to joining our clinic, Dr. Bell has worked at various private practice locations in the South Bay.

Activities and Involvement

Dr. Bell is a member of Santa Clara County Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Optometric Extension Program and Infant SEE program. She often performs Vision Screenings for the Bay Area Elementary Schools.

Dr. Bell and her husband, Terry Bell, have a son, Jack. They enjoy cooking, entertaining, and the outdoors. They are members of the Sierra Club and hike mountains all around the world. Their biggest accomplishment was a 160-mile trek through the Himalayas. Dr. Bell is looking forward to helping you and your children achieve their best visual potential.
