Dr. Audrey V. Louie
About Dr. Louie
Dr. Louie attended Stanford University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Industrial Engineering in 2000. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree with Clinical Honors from the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. She is interested in contact lens research and worked at the UC Berkeley Clinical Research Center while in school. She completed her OD thesis on the “Effects of 30-Day Continuous Wear with Silicone Hydrogel Lenses on Corneal Epithelial Barrier Function.” Her clinical training includes work at the Palo Alto and Honolulu Veteran’s Administration Medical Centers and the Alameda County Medical Center.
Activities and Involvement
Dr. Louie serves as Project Co-Chair of the Santa Clara Optometric Society. She is also a member of the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Louie enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son. Together, they cook and explore new restaurants. They can also be found relaxing and enjoying the beautiful California weather on campus at both Stanford and CAL.
