Dr. Gina Gilson is a Bay Area native from San Jose, CA. She graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry. After being away from the Bay Area for many years, she is thrilled to be back to serve the patients in her community. Dr Gilson has received clinical training at Wellish Vision Eye Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada, San Jose Veteran's Affairs hospital, and Southern Arizona Veteran's Affair hospital.
Dr. Gilson is most passionate about dry eye and dry eye management due to her extensive experience living and clinical training in desert climates. She also practices full-scope optometry, including glaucoma and macular degeneration management.
Dr. Gilson is a member of the California Optometry Association and American Optometric Association. Outside of optometry she enjoys gardening, cooking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She looks forward to providing excellent patient care to all!
